İtalian professor Francesca Vetro is expected to lecture at Baku Engineering University (BEU) starting from the spring semester of 2026. This agreement was reached during a meeting between the parties.

Professor Francesca Vetro conducts scientific research in the field of mathematics and computer science. The scholar, who has extensive teaching and research experience, focuses her academic interests on areas such as modular varieties and applied mathematics.

The parties noted that this cooperation will provide BEU students with international academic experience and will create conditions for them to become familiar with the Italian higher education system and scientific approaches.

It was emphasized that this initiative is the next step taken to expand BEU international relations, provide students with a global perspective, and strengthen its integration into the modern educational environment. The university intends to expand cooperation with foreign universities and prestigious scientists to provide students with globally competitive knowledge and skills.
