Professors Aysel Ersoy and Rüya Şamlı from Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University of Türkiye, and Associate Professor Serdar Biroğul from Düzce University are visiting Baku Engineering University (BEU).
The purpose of the visit, which took place at the invitation of BEU administration, is to support the teaching of core specialized subjects in SABAH program groups.
Within the framework of the visit, the guest academic staff attended classes in "Information Technologies," "Information Security," "Computer Engineering," and "Computer Science" specializations at BEU's Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies. Furthermore, lectures on "Fundamentals of Computer Engineering," "Introduction to Computer Science," "Fundamentals of Programming," "Web Programming," and "Web Systems and Technologies" are being delivered by the Turkish professors, and practical sessions and laboratory classes are being organized.
Meetings with the faculty administration as well as the academic staff have also been arranged. During the meetings, issues such as expanding mutual cooperation, updating course curricula, implementing advanced teaching methodologies, conducting joint scientific research, preparing and publishing scientific articles, and joint supervision of doctoral students were discussed.
The parties deemed it appropriate to continue cooperation on a regular and systematic basis.
